Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters actively supports the positive impact of coffee on the well-being of the planet and the individuals involved in the supply chain. Sustainability is a core principle of our business model, guiding our efforts both internationally and locally.
Certified Organic
All our coffee is organic. We feel this is essential. You need to be sure that what you eat, and drink is not full of toxic additives. Certified organic coffee is grown and processed using environmental and human friendly methods;
sustainable farming practices that replenish the soil and conserve water. There are no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
The fertilizers are natural substances such as compost and manure. The processing and packing are also free of chemicals.
Organic coffee is certified by an independent agency that monitors every stage of production.
Rainforest Alliance
As well, Neighbourhood Coffee proudly displays the Rainforest Alliance Certified Seal which is given exclusively to coffee that meets rigorous environmental, social, and economic standards.
This ensures that both the earth and the people that grow and harvest the beans are treated with care and respect.
